Contending Modernities depends on the support of individual donors and foundations to generate new knowledge in service of the common good.

The Kroc Institute gratefully acknowledges the key role that the following individuals have played in supporting Contending Modernities through their generous donations:

Two major grants are enabling the Science and the Human Person working group to advance a global, interreligious and intercultural conversation about science, ethics, and the human future. We are grateful to the following foundations for their support of Contending Modernities:

The Henry Luce Foundation
The Religion and Innovation in Human Affairs Program of The Historical Society, funded by the John Templeton Foundation

Additionally, the John Templeton Foundation funds the Madrasa Discourses project, which seeks to build critical scientific and theological literacy among madrasa graduates in India.
